Help--
Bought new Dell laptop. Can not make a wireless connections with my Belkin router It asks for a Wep or WPa password
I also have a Dell laptop that I use at work I can make a wireless connectiion to thesame router without a password (so I am guessing this laptop must be configured differently to allow me to connect without any password.
What do I need to do to make the new laptop work? I do not remember ever setting a password on the router and dialed in 192.168.0.1 to get the router settings but do not see any password.
Please help --there must be some little setting I need to adjust? Should I try to disable WEP? or what should I do. Please help

When you looked at your Router did you see any settings for WEP? Did it look like it was in use? If it did look like it was in use you may have seen something near it that said "PASSPHRASE" that would be the password your Laptop is looking for.
