in my house I have two computer using a wireless network connection and I have just bought a new pc and I want to connect it to the wireless network but I do not know the WEP. How can I find it out?

You mean the WEP security key.

To find that out you will have to ask whoever configured the wireless router for the other computers.

If you have forgotten the WEP key the only thing you can do is to reset the wirleless router and recongigure it with a new key. The WEP key is not stored anywhere where it can be recoverd other than in an encrypted form.

There is a program called Cain and Abel you can download and run on either of the two computers currently using the wireless connection and it can give it to you. Under decoders, click on wireless passwords and then click on the plus sign up at the top that says "add to list" if you hover over it. Hope this helps
