sheesh it has been a long time since I have even had that option, but I believe that from the way you have it configured you should be able to go into the Control Panel, then User Accounts and in there somewhere should be an option for "Change the Way Users Logon/off"

That is going from my best recollection, but I hope that helps.. I am sure that what you are wanting is in User Accounts though.

I think the only way around that is to delete the password for the account logging in. I don't think you will get past the pop-up for the login, but at least you can just hit enter and go in without putting a password (if you have deleted the password). Let me know if that helps, maybe someone else has some other ideas?

1. Click Start on the Windows taskbar, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.
3. In the dialog box that appears, click to deselect the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box, and then click OK.
4. Logoff to confirm your workstation logs back on again.

Thanks Dion~!

I couldn't really offer much help as my computer is no longer configured in that way. I don't even know if I can get it back that way as I logon to a domain controller with several other server type services running as well. I am not sure what prevents it, but even Fast User Switching will not start up even when it is set to automatic.

But in case anyone else is in the same position that I am... there is also a way to auto-logon to domains w/ user and pass as well. See: http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/13/
