Xp Pro. After I log out of Windows, and leave the computer for long periods, say 20 hours or so, the flashing cursor is missing from the text box where you re-enter your password. No amount of key pressing will wake the page and I have to reboot by doing a hardware reset. Then it's ok. What could be causing this?

You say the cursor is missing. Are you able to type the password in? If not, what happens if you hit the Tab key?
