Whoever fixes this I'll love you forever haha...But basically what's goingon is I'll be sitting here doing whatever, nothing out of the ordinary, and my computer decides to reboot itself. Here's the truly wierd part, I can be on it all day and it not do it once, then at night I get on and it does it every 5 minutes. Don't take that as it only does it at night though, sometimes I will get on of the mornings and it just reboots itself then wont do it the rest of the day. Sometimes, it reboots itself a million times all day long. Now, I think I know what causes this but I have no idea on how to fix it. I noticed a little bit ago (actually about 5 minutes ago when I was typing this the first time and it restarted), It only seems to happen when I am in a online Flash (I think) Chat room similar to IRC. I know the guy who runs the site so I could get the details on the chat room if that could help you....Now I could be totally wrong on the chat room thing so throw out other possible causes too. Thanks ahead of time..

Sounds like a overheating problem. Open the case and power the machine up. Are all the fans running? there should be one inside the power supply .. perhaps one on the power supply. Maybe one or twn inside the case.
Try cleaning the lint out of the fans and clean the inside of you machine.. might be time for spring cleaning!
If one of the fans is inoperable you can but replacement pancake fans at your local computert supply shop for about $5.
This is a simple repair you should be able to do yourself.best of luck Frank :

Hmm..Event Viewer didn't give me much...I'm going to clean it out later if problem persists, I'll post again.
