Hi, I seem to have a strange sound problem, when i start XP up sometimes there is sound and other times not.I usually restart it and then it works. When the sound doesn't work the sound control panel is greyed out as if nothing is there. There is also some interferance when the mouse is moving (usb intelli laser mouse) it is more pronounced with other speakers. The soundcard is intergrated in the motherboard. Ill have to find out the mainboard specs if you want them. any help much appreciated. thanxs

Ok re-installed the drivers using the cd that came with my mother board, hard to find them on the net. i dont know if it cured the problem as it is only occasionally the sound wont work, as for the mouse interference its still there.
