Weird Problem with IE 6.0

Hello, I have a weird problem with IE 6.0..when i type any url, it hangs and website comes after 4-5 mins..when i click in the main window it says not responding...if i donot touch it the website comes eventually...even the mouse pointer disappears..this happens when i open IE for the 1st time, the next url which i type comes as usual..during this hanging time i can still open new IE browser window...is it some kind of a virus...my antivirus is updaed...no virus found...please help...thanks and regards

you could have some malware on your PC, try a free online scan http://www.spywareinfo.com/xscan.php and remove all it finds. Let us know how you make out.
