Lately Im having problems with my account because there are suddenly things I cannot do like access certain websites certain games, etc. Also the shut down buttons on my start menu are gone and I cant shut down from the task manager either.

I SHOULD be the only account on this computer and I am the only person that uses this computer, however, I logged on safe mode and there was an account named "Administrator" along with my account which is also and administrator account. When I'm logged onto that administrator account I can see my account in the "user accounts" page however if im logged on my account I cannot see their account and therefore can't delete it. I have no idea where this account suddenly came from. What should I do about it?

That is the default built-in Administrator account, which is normally only accessible through Safe Mode. It's not possible to delete it.

You don't need to do anything. :)

Then why can I suddenly not do things like log in to websites or shut down my computer is it possible that account has limited my access?

Only if you changed your account while logged into the Admin account. The symptoms sound more like a Browser hijack or a trojan/virus. You should run an spyware removal program and a virus scan.

If you cannot do those things, it is probably because your account is a limited account. To see what group your account is in run this command:
net user %username% | findstr "Local"

If your not in the Administrators or Power Users group, run this command to add yourself to the Administrators group:

runas /noprofile /user:%computername%\administrator "start cmd /k net localgroup Administrators your_username /add

Sabretooth, those are definantly my symptoms I will be downloading several extra malware/anti-virus progs from download.com and running them in safe mode shortly.

tonysathre, if you had read you would know I already said my account is an admin account.

HAve you tried in Safemode to use system restore to a point before the problem occurred? If it's a virus or other malware this won't work but if it's merely a corruption of the system/registry then restore may fix your problem.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
