Hello,
I'm having a problem with my internet connection. I'm on a wireless system with another computer, and I made a reboot of my sytem by mistake - fortunately I had a backup. But now, my Internet connection is very weird: I can access most of the websites, but some of them, such as Hotmail when I sign in, don't work: Explorer only gives the "Cannot find the server/The page cannot be displayed" page. Also, my KazaA downloads are stangely very slow, while on the other computer in the house they are always at top speed.
Finally, manually downloaded programs from the Internet work fine, but more sophisticated ones that have their own downloading system don't, like Adobe Acrobat Reader, MSN Messenger and IncrediMail. Same for downloaded updates of Norton Antivirus (LiveUpdate) and Adobe Photoshop. These downloads are interrupted by a popup window that says something like 'make sure you have an internet connection' or 'there is a problem with the server'. What should I do? I obviously HAVE an Internet connection, because I can type this message from my computer...
Please help!!

Search the forums for how to get rid of spyware and viruses, as well as how to check your hosts file.
