Comment:

G'day,

I've got ICS working fine in my home network however I have noticed some weirdness in the IP addresses assigned to the host computers in my network. With Win98se hosts in my network were assigned IP addresses sequentially from 192.168.0.2, but with XP they seem to be radom IP addresses, such as 192.168.0.200 and 192.168.0.140!

Is there a way to control the way XP assigns the IP addresses?

The reason I ask this is because I have a Wireless basestation which needs to be configured via telnet!

Pls advise...

Akshay
