Hello all!

I have a weird problem with my display.
I went into it the other day and all my tabs for screensaver, wallpaper, display were gone. The only thing that comes up when I go into "display" is the "themes" window.
So, I go into "themes" and click on a theme (my current theme) and click apply to be able to get the tabs back. I did not change any settings at all and am wondering how this happened.
Can someone please tell me how this happened and what I can do to get it back to normal?? It is a real pain to have to go through this everytime I want to go and change my screensaver, wallpaper or display, etc.
Thanks to anyone that replies...

Hi Viv,

Exact same problem +solution :) here:
[ XP 89632 ] Restoring the tabs in display properties

Click on the "RegFix download" link, which will download a .reg file. Doubleclick on this regfile to merge the contents with the registry.

You may have to reinstall your graphics drivers after applying this, though. Some graphics drivers have their own tab on the display properties panel, and that one will only come back by reinstalling the graphics drivers - maybe look for an update for your graphics driver on the manufacturer's website.

Here's the direct download link for that regfix thingy:

[download] restorealldisplaytabs.reg (Kelly's Korner)
