I'm at my wits end (short leash). I have a Microsoft VX3000 webcam and it's plugged into a USB slot and audio and video appear great on my screen. I have downloaded Windows Live Messenger and also Windows Messenger and I use a hotmail account. My sister, in Elliott lake has a cheap Nexxtech webcam and when we try to coonect I see her and hear her perfectly. She can hear me but no video. I've tried clicking on every button that I think will activate my video to here end but nothing works. My webcam cost me around $50 and is a piece of crap if I can't get the video to go out. Anyone have any clue where I go next?

I am not that familar with the windows live stuff but in skype there is a video output source that has to be set to work video over skype....maybe the source is set wrong in windows live. Thanks, lurkswithin. That's all I need, another payment plan to get free calls. No thanks. I'd like to get my webcam to send out the video images. At first I thought part of the problem might be my router, but my sister and her husband each have their own PC and use a router as well. So it can't be the router that's preventing my video from getting out. She is on webcam with a friend all the time and they don't have a problem communicating both audio and video. Thanks, anyway.
