Comment:

Not all web page links, gif images load on the page. For example, on Amazon.com "shopping cart", "submit" can not be seen. But when I glide the mouse over the page, the mouse "hand" will appear where a button link should be. This happens on other web sites. It happens whether I use Internet explorer or Firefox. What is missing?

krwhite, take a look at your settings and be sure you're allowing HTML, Active X and have it set to 'show pictures'. Sorta sounds to me like it's displaying 'text only'?

It is displaying text and pictures, just not all of the hyperlinks. I checked all the settings and they are fine.
