Web pages are shifted left on XP

OS: windows xp sp2
CPU/Ram: 750 mhx 128 ram

Windows Xp sp2 all updates, Office XP ,750mhz 128ram ,Compaq laptop m700

Some of the web pages I visit are shifted left. You can view the screen shots of them at these links:

Not all sites are affected but, quite a few do this. Can't find any info on google search.

I think this is to do with your Screen Resolution - I have a neighbour who has the same problem - he has a Desktop PC but with a LCD Flat Screen on high res.

Some Sites I think still recommend 800 x 600 but I'm not sure if the Laptop LCD Screen will look right on 800x600

adjusting the resolution on the display fixed the problem.
