Reply: (edit)You need to burn the songs as WAV for CD players that don't support MP3 files. Some CD players support MP3 others don't. Jegzzy

Reply: (edit)I see you have numerous posts on this. First of all, are you converting ALL your MP3's to WAV forms? If so, are you making an AUDIO or DATA CD? For music to play in a regular CD player, you MUST make wav files and you MUST record the cd in the AUDIO format. I hope that clarifies things for you. Now in answer to your question. MP3's are much smaller than WAV files, BUT, you need a DVD or MP3 player to play them Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Reply: (edit)Standard CD players play CDA files. CDA files are actually WAV files that have been modified just a bit to make them playable by CD players. As mentioned above MP3s can only be played by computers and special CD/DVD players. Read the players documentation to see if it will play MP3s.

Reply: (edit)I'm also not sure what you are asking, but ... To create audio CDs that will play on a standalone player you tell your burner to create an audio CD. Most burners will use both WAV and MP3 files as input. Be aware that some players are fussy and will not play home made CDs. Also CD-RWs will often times not be playable on standalone players.
