Comment:

I sensed the content alignment on CN is now vertically more centered than it was before, didn't pay much attention to it from the Vista side & just booted into the XP and of course the format is now even more conspicuous.

So Justin, did this happen last night or today and are there more surprises coming in terms of changes that are being implemented or is that it?

Yeah I've also noticed the centralized format on both IE7 & FF2. I thought it was just my eyes :-)

I'm so used to keeping 'Favorites' up (IE6) that I hadn't even noticed the change...lol

*Turn images On*........ & jam you are not going to like this - but it's about time you upgrade *wink* *wink* (Black Friday) ;-)

On a larger screen, especially 19" & above LCDs, it's almost impossible not to notice it instantly. Below is a screen capture of the new layout on my monitor (using the native 1600 x 1200 resolution) - see the gobs of space still left on either side ;-(

Believe me, I'll be watching the BF deals. A monitor isn't really on my xmas list, but you never know ;-)

Actually, I just upgraded to a 17" Samsung LCD for $60 (thanks to SlickDeals) several months ago. It has roughly the same diagonal measure as my old ViewSonic 19" CRT. I have my resolution at 1024*768 & when I have Favorites up (which I usually do), it uses about 1.5" on the left of my screen.
