Hi

Can anyone help ????

All of a sudden my back button produces a page which says:

Warning: Page has Expired

The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button.

It used to work fine .... and I was able to use to back button to return to a page I'd been using so I can re-enter information.

I haven't changed my system or anything .. Does anyone know of a way of making everything work again, and get rid of this stupid message?

Thanks for your help

Guy

it is all down to the website you are visiting. it even does it on this site after you have added a post and try to go back.

if you read the full text you can understand why it does it. absolutely nothing you can do about it.

That always happens to me on the secure sites I visit,ie, my bank and credit card websites. Does the site you refer to require 128byte encryption? Never noticed it on this site, but I agree there's nothing you can do to change it.

Oh yes there is, and the answer in on Microsofts support pages
Go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced. Go down to Security & uncheck the box that says "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" Then roboot and your problems are solved.
I had the same problem & I had changed nothing. It just changed it on its own

Thanks for this.

It certainly has made a difference, but entirely cured it. It's a start!

Any other ideas?
