Comment:
How do I make Windows Explorer always open in the root directory of C:? It currently opens in "My Documents." I tried changing the "Start in:" directory in properties but it doesn't work.

The switches are documented here : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;152457& I'm not on xp right now but you can try one of these : 1) In the Target box, change the entry to "%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e" 2) "%windir%\explorer.exe /n, /e, C:\" without the quotes.
