Want to Delete Three Folders

Hello,
I've had XP for about 10 months and I still have three folders I'd like to get rid of, if it's safe to. 1. MSN (13.0 MB) Inside it has an empty Gaming Zone folder and an MSN Explorer icon.(Don't want or use it.) 2. Messenger (2.05 MB) Don't use it! Don't want it. 3. MSN Gaming Zone (8.33) I thought I had deleted these games when I first got this computer, they seem to be only links to online gaming. I don't want them.
None of these show up in the Add/Remove in Control Panel. If I try to delete them I get a message telling me, roughly, that renaming or removing them could make some programs not work and am I sure I want to do this? Do I want to? Is it OK or not? Thanks very much for any help given.

I would first rename these folders and wait for few days. If Windows doesn't come back barking at any "missing" files from the renamed folders, then I will know its reasonably safe to delete them.

No it don't but who knows whats in it? The method I suggested is a safety mechanism, you know, to make sure all is well before actually sending them out to the cyberspace junk yard :-)

Well I was just relying solely on my experience. There's no way for me to really know whats what in croths pc. He could have told me to bug off if he wishes. It was just a suggestion. You and I both gave him the best we know.
