Want to defrag this old computer.

Specs: Windows XP, Celeron(R) 248 MB of RAM
Have cleaned up this old computer now I want to defrag it to run faster. Message says defragment could not start.

Type chkdsk /f in the Run box (note the space), then hit Enter key. The HD will then be checked and fixed on the next boot (type Y and hit Enter key). Sometimes a relatively minor issue with the HD can cause defrag to fail.

It's not going to run fast with just 248MB RAM. To be able to defrag, you'll need a minimum of 15% free drive space, do you have it?
