WAN Miniports again

All,

My daughter's computer got the dreaded "WAN Miniports" when we loaded the Verizon Fios CD.

Now we can't get anywhere on the net and everything I've done to remove them including the "regedit" tricks are not working.

Is there an automated removal tools for these yet?

If not what is the best way to really get them gone for good?

you'll find an answer there. In your case, I'm thinking it's a driver connected to Verizon, but...

Hey had done all this, but tried something diff.

All WAN miniports were disabled, so turned on just the IP one and everthing started working again.
