Wallpaper won't show up unless I close explorer.exe?
I restarted my computer and upon bootup part of my wallpaper shows up, only the part where my object dock is. The rest shows up as a grey background. It's not terrible , but I would like to know the reason. This is what it looks like.http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/...
The grey color shouldn't be there. As I change themes as well, that grey background turns to blue or whatever color the theme uses. Heres what I did.I close explorer.exe, my wallpaper shows up, but it closes my taskbar which I expected. Why is this happening? Any ideas? I rebooted yet again to see if it was a problem on that 1st startup but it did it again.
Basically I guess my explorer.exe is acting as a full screen program, since I can see part of my wallpaper but only where the edge is reserved for my ObjectDock.Any help would be very appreciated.

Afraid the screenshot you attached doesn't seem to be a
working link. Could you try adding another screenshot?
This sounds like a bit of a strange problem, to be honest,
and not something I've heard of before.I'm guessing you've tried updating the wallpaper with a
different theme to ensure that it isn't the wallpaper itself
that has become corrupted? I'd try that just to be sure
that it's not a problem there. It could also be the image
starting to load (thus explaining why you see the edge),
and then stopping - since I can't imagine explorer.exe
overwriting it.

I changed the theme in the appearance part of the Display properties, it didn't work, but then I changed it in the actual themes menu and it seemed to work. I can't believe I didn't think to change the whole thing, either way, thanks so much for the reply.
