Wallpaper location

Specs: Windows XP Pro SP1, Athlon64 3500+ / 1GB

Where is the wallpaper file saved in XP? I set it to a photograph which I no longer have on my computer, but obviously Windows makes a copy of it somewhere. I would like to find this file so that if I change my wallpaper in future I can always change it back to this... (and no, I do not have any copies of this file)

Should be in C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper (for Windows XP).

It isn't, I already looked in there. That only contains the default wallpapers, not my custom one. It has to be somewhere as it gets reloaded each time I boot...

Windows also stores your personal pictures for wallpaper in the "My Pictures" folder.

Earlier this month someone came here to ask us the SAME question. Have you read that one before you posted this thread?
