Could anyone please advise manual removal instructions for this virus. The computer in question does not have anti virus software currently installed & seem to be preventing installation.

Dennis, Go to the link below and download and run the "Stinger v2.3.9" Removal Tool. McAfee's name for the W32.Pinfi virus is W32/Pate and the Stinger Removal Tool should get rid of it.
