W32.Pinfi - Help Please

i dont mean to bother but i need help. i got Norton Antivirus yesterday and it detected W32.Pinfi. It annoys me because it cannot do anything about it. So i got this Panda Software that specializes on this specific virus...anyways, i ran it and it detected it but it says it, W32.Pinfi, is innactive. It was supposed to remove it but the virus alerter from Norton AV keeps poping up with the same message, W32.Pinfi... I need some SERIOUS help. Please help and thank you. P. Makiaveli

I just got this virus also. Unfortunately I had to reformat to get rid of it. You can delete the registry string for it but it will keep comming back. Since this virus infects .exe and .scr files, all of my programs would not run because their .exe files were corrupted. Also if you back up files from your infected computer, remember that any .exe or .scr files you back up may be infected and will reinfect your machine once you reformat. It really sucks to have this virus. Good luck.
