Ive been trying to erase W32.HLLW.GAOBOT.gen virus for quite a few days now and nothing will work. Let me explain:
My antivirus would pop up a virus alert of a W32.HLLW.GAOBOT.gen virus under the file vbrun70sp4 and vbrun6nt in a folder in Documents and Settings.. i checked in that folder and it doesnt exist.. Norton Antivirus 2003 can erase those 2 viruses so my computer doesnt get infected. But, as soon as its erased, the virus pops right back. Meaning, theres another program or file whos job is to put those 2 files back in.. I ran the removal tool from Symantec which gave me nothing at all.. doesnt find any trace of the virus. I also went in safe mode to find the files and delete them.. they still come back. I also found an error with a certain NC10.exe file.. but i am unable to find that file on my computer.. Can anyone please help me ? thx
