i d/l a file from kazaa that's supposed to be the full version of unreal tournament. the file downloaded is a vxd file.
is this some sort of compressed file and if so how can i open it?

When downloading a program and the size shows the file to be, for an example 260 Kb, then you can not by any stretch of anyone's imagination think that it could even possibly be a full program.

You take your chances using Kazaa. What you get is what you get. Usually a full program will be in the hundreds of MBs in sizeand take (quite) a while to download. Take heed!
Btw, a vxd file is a a driver, not a program in the sense you think it is.
