Hi.
I copied a method of removing the Trojan Vundo virus from my computer on your website using Process XP and Pocket Killbox.
I actually copied it last year when I first had to remove it.
It worked perfectly.
However, now it isn't.
In the third step, it tells me to open the two programs, the Registry Editor, and My Computer to browse through my computer.
However, the next step, which is to kill explorer.exe, ultimately kills the 'My Computer' process... therefore, leaving me unable to complete some other steps...
How do kill explorer without killing 'My Computer'?
Thanks.
Jon

I also have Think-Adz... I deleted Vundo using the pocket killbox and so on... but When I scanned with Spyhunter after the process... it came back...
I hope I don't get in trouble for this by a forum moderator... but Think-adz is connected to Limewire...
Can Limewire be the cause of this?

Did you turn off System Restore before trying to clean it out. If not, you reinfected yourself.
