By computer suddenly became very slow. I checked with the taskmanager and there is vsmon.exe wasting my time with 100% CPU usage and nothing happens. I checked for virusses,worms, spybots and I cleaned everything. I does no help. What is happening here and what can I do about it?

Lon: You must be using a Zone Alarm firewall, since vsmon.exe is a critical ZA service that handles the security rules which the user configures. My own vsmon.exe never rises above 6200K in Task Manager. At the moment, I've been online for 4.5 hours and the ZA service has used roughly 47 minutes of CPU time, but never over 6400K. I can't guess as to why your vsmon.exe is running your CPU at 100%. If you've checked your PC thoroughly for malware, I'd download a fresh copy of ZA, uninstall the current ZA offline, then reinstall the new copy offline. Solarian

I have the same issue with vsmon.exe. It slowly starts to creep up the mem. usage to the point where my computer crawls!!! I noticed that this happens only when I run Overnet - which uses my Internet connection constantly ... have not been able to over come this with vsmon ... going to give up on Overnet ... Daniel
