Well i'm going to assume that your work has a VPN connection running, setting up a VPN conection with windows xp is like setting up a dialup connection.

Go into my network places, then see all connections and choose create new connection on the left.

This will pop up a connection wizard. Click next and the next screen you'll have 3 choices the second choice is to setup a VPN connection. Choose this and hit next.

Since you have dsl you'll want to choose the second option, not dialup.

Enter in your company name and hit next.

DSL again so you don't want to dial immediatly on the next screen and hit next.

Then here is where you'll have to enter whatever the VPN IP or address. (ex. vpn.mycompany.com)

Select which use you want. Next and then Finish and you have set up a VPN connection.

Nick
