VM Ware installation

i have linux and win xp in my system currently. i heard that through vm ware we can run two os simultaneously . tell me how to achieve this. tell me in detail how to install , and what to do after installation .

If you buy VMware you'll get a manual. It will tell you in detail how to install it.
