Recently I'm unable to run a few applications which used to run w/o problems.
The error message I get is:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library ------- Runtime Error!
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Ah-hah! It's not just me! I'm getting the same thing everytime I try to log into a site that requres a passsword. Its driving me crazy! I've switched to netscape and opera for the time being. I'd love to know what's going on!

I got this errors message all the time too!!.. every time after I open ICQ for a while, the message pops up and it terminates ICQ after I click OK....
any solution??... it's so annoying...:(

I'm getting this when my windows XP Professional goes to logoff. It just started doing this??? I'm going to run microsoft "windowsupdate" see what happens. I'll let you know my results.
