I am using AVG for my anti-virus protection.
I have a Trojan horse Keybiz.A virus in file "System Volume Information\_restore{599EE4B7-B281-4319-8676-4FDD248A4A94}-RP242\A0018076.exe" This message keeps popping up, telling me to run AVG to fix it.
I run AVG and it tells me there are no viruses found. (AVG is up to date)
What's up with this?
I have not noticed any problems with the computer other than the message popping up.

Go to the following site and do a free Trojan scan. It will delete the Trojan.

Barb2, Follow the instructions at the link below to turn off System Restore then restart your computer, run your AVG program and you won't see that message again. Turning off System Restore will purge all the Restore files inclucing any which may be infected with a virus/trojan from your hard drive. Turn on System Restore again after you do the above. Antivirus Programs can't clean virus/trojan infected files from the System Restore directory.
