Hi my virus scanner AVG has identified "do_not_delete" as a virus and says it has removed it. A fresh scan shows no viruses, however in my startup file in msconfig there is a "do_not_delete". Does anybody know if this is in fact a virus . If so how do I delete it. Regards Scommstech.

Download and installed both Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Spybot - Search & Destroy. Update the detection definations of both. Scans best done in safe mode. Your post was more suitable for the security and virus forum.
