Nothing by that name is coming up as a virus in searches. You sure it's a virus?

I would get AVG anti-virus , its free and the update all the time.it removed the last three trojans i've had.and it says,if it can't remove the virus, then it will tell u how to get it removed.
hope that helps...Killian..

Can someone please help me?
I have a problem I am pretty sure that I have a worm on my laptop and when I try to scan with ad-aware, Norton anti-virus, anti-Trojan it locks up. Here is the problem. The computer works almost fine expect when I try to go to some files the computer TIMESOUT (like it does not do any thing for a wile and any program that I might have open will start not to respond. when this happens I have to manually shut off the computer.) Also when I try to go to the start menu then go to search the search window does not even open up all. Nothing will happen then computer will just not respond.
The reason why I think I have a worm or virus is because when I went to IPConifg, then went too START up I saw this file: dumprep 0 -k and I was like I have never seen that file before. And when you look to see what programs it is associated with it says:
%systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k
I have never seen this file before and I am pretty sure if does not belong to any of the files in my computer can you please help me out. thanks
BRUCE

Hi! Stanman,I checked again the Virus name and it says:Downloader.TUROWN.A
It says it is a virus and not a Trojan.Hopefully you have a solution for me.
Thanks!
Matthew.
