Tried running a virus scan in SAFE mode. No virus found now is the report.
The PC still very slow. Start button and task bar still yellow.
Tried to use spyware doctor which detected 12 spy programmes but could not eliminate as the product has to be registered.
the MS antispyware detected two programmes. 1. Golden Eye and 2. Crackspider on my PC. But somehow they cannot be fully removed
Then i used trend micro online virus scan and here is the report.

Sometimes I like computer problems, but when I get bad as you are, I format and install XP.

Chuck 2 I am seriously thinking of of doing what you suggested.
Maybe one last time i will try the conservative methods and if it fails i wil go for the radical uninstall , format and reinstall xp

Another thing that may not have been mentioned in your last posts is that evil things can hide out in System Restore files.
Turn off System Restore, then do scans in Safe-Mode.

Right click My Computer,
then Properties,
then System Restore tab.
