Hello, i have a bit of an issue here.
My boyfriend downloaded a trial game of Masters of Defense or something like that onto my computer. I have never heard of it, and i have no clue what it is. So, ever since i deleted that thing off my computer i have been having HUGE issues with viruses and what not. At first, i couldnt do anything, my backgroudn changed, my task manager says "Blocked by Administrator" and so does "Regedit", but i can get to my MSCONFIG. I cant load the "User Accounts". Um... At first, i couldnt run Ad-Aware. (I somehow deleted something that fixed it i guess, cause im scnanning my computer with it now.) So i rebooted into Safemode and i went into System32 and i listed my files by detailed and deleted everything that was created on the date from the download, to the delete. A few things stayed cause "They were in use" so i wrote them down:

sockins32.dll (deleted.)
trvnwncr.dll
vaginamf.dll
pbbedsym
osloolpl.dll
clkcnt
hgGvuVpq.dll
xXpMGvsr.dll

Also, when i try to use my IE or FireFox, which BOTH dont work like they are supposed to. (Lots of things arent loading, and i cant do online scans.) Popups will open in the different tabs:
winanonymous.com
systemerrorfix.com
adnetserver.com

Please, this is all i know...And i dont know what to do cause i CANT do anything on my comp. I am currently on my laptop typing.
I hope someone can help me out here. I dont want to have to delete everything and start over.

Thanks for your time.

Since you can get to safe mode, run your antivirus program from there. Disable system restore first if you are able to. Also in safe mode run Spybot S&D and Adaware 2007. See what happens. Maybe others will have additional suggestions.

Follow bluejay's advice. However, I think your boyfreind isn't telling you the whole truth. Below is one of the items you listed. I would guess this came from a porn site. I could be wrong.

vaginamf.dll

I'd try a restore to a time before the game was installed.

Jennifer's suggestion sounds the best to me. But I suspect that a lot of damage was done by deleting files. You can't delete files purely by date, because the Operating System creates and modifies files that it needs every day.

Use this to delete the locked files.

Ok well, i can tell you that it wasnt porn lol. The Vaginathing.dll also came when i uninstalled the game. I do regular clean ups and my scanners would have found it alot sooner. I left for the night, and i came back today to find my computer worse off than when i left it. I deleted TONS of things with Hijack This! And i deleted something called "Spools?" which allowed me to open Ad-Aware. (It was blocked.) Here are now the following issues with the comp:

My Desktop has been hijacked, cant fix.
My regedit is blocked.
My taskmanager is blocked.
My C:/ is hidden.
All C:/ related folders on the desktop are missing. (My computer, my networking, my documents.)
My Control Panel is missing and blocked.
Nothing in my start bar shows up (Any of my programs as well as the C:/ folders.)
I deleted tons of things that were created recently in System32 as well as Windows and Program Files.
All of my C:/ files say "Virus Infected Alert!" Where it would tell you the specs of the folder/file.
My time in the right corner says "Virus Alert!"

But yea, im pretty screwed up right now. I cant even format my C:/ which makes me really angry. I would rather NOT delete everything, but it looks like i might have to wipe....But i am doing to try the "Unlocker 1.8.7." and see if that helps by deleting the .dlls that wont delete.

I will be in touch again soon! :)
Thanks for the help.

Well i have my net unplugged cause it cant load any pop ups that way...So, when i tried to use the Unlocker, it didnt work. It said goto "insert addy here" and that was it. It wouldnt delete them. :(

I dont know, this is the worst virus attack ive personally ever had, and it sucks. Any more help or suggestions?

A System Restore to a time before the problem started.

If that doesn't work, backup your data and do a clean install of XP.

Sorry to hear of your problems.

A System Restore will likely be in the end but you can try someting that worked for me.
when Sys Restore is to be done, be sure to turn off restore via the control panel or you will be back to square one again after running the Spybot below.

Get yourself a jump drive min 100mb go on web on a "second pc" and download Spybot search and destroy . install it on the jumpdrive. when it has been installed on the jump drive then try starting the pc. Start in safe mode choose c prompt option. go to root dir "cd\"
Then type in :"explorer" this loads windows without a login page. with the jump drive in the usb port, start spybot and go after the bugs on c drive. It will run slow at first but let do its deeds. then after all repaired start in normal mode and run spybot again, should see some results.

This has worked for me hope it will do same for you.
