When I try to log on to AOL, my computer displays a message about AOL Broadband and freezes. Have tried the virus cleaner from Microsoft to no avail. Can anyone help?

Knowing what the message says would go a long way to solving the problem.

You tested with Microsoft Spyware cleaner. Microsoft haven't yet released a virus cleaner although they plan to do so in the future. If you are relying on the Microsoft application to check for viruses then you are not achieving anything. Try Free AVG for viruses.

It would help to know what the error message
was, what makes you suspect a virus?
