Go to the Symantec or Trend websites, run their scans and use the tools to clean up your system. Why did your antivirus program fail you? All the best!

Kazaa includes spyware. Gator and bargains.exe if my memory is correct. You can disable both from running during the startup process by downloading and running StartCop, a free utility from PC Magazine.

I also had that w32.benjamin worm through kazaa.

To capt: I never run a virusscan; I do this for over 2 years now, and it's the first virus I have. I already knew it was a virus when I dubble clicked the exe that I downloaded, because I didn't trust it and nothing happened when I ran it. I emmediately went to the symantec online scan and it whas fixed.

To kazaa-users:
open tool->options->filter
add this to the blocklist:
-full-downloader
and you'll never see that virus again...
