Start > Run, type "msconfig" (without the quotes). On the Startup tab look for a reference to the program and uncheck it. Click Apply then OK.

Call Road Runner, they will schedule a callback to have that removed for you.

I just found this at another site:

Virtual Truck is believed to be associated with previous failed installations that did not run to normal completion.

Here are two possible solutions:
1. Go to Start menu, Run. Type "msconfig" and click OK. Click the WIN.INI tab and click on the + next to [windows]. Uncheck the checkbox next to any entry with "run= ...\vtagent\reboot.exe" and click OK.

2. Start menu, Run. Type "regedit" and hit Enter. Find HKEY_LOCAL-MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Broadjump\VTagent\ and delete files related to VTruck.exe

Hope one of those helps!

I went to msconfig WIN.INI tab -- there is no [windows] directory. Searched all over in there for vtruck - not showing. Searched all files on all drives for vtruck.exe -- found file "VTRUCK.EXE-0F3323BF.pf" in C:\windows\prefetch. In its Properties it shows that it's an unknown <nobr><a class="iAs" style="border-bottom:darkgreen 1px solid;text-decoration:underline;color:darkgreen;background-color:transparent;" href="http://itxt.vibrantmedia.com/al.asp?ipid=7&cc=us&cf=1&ai=8924662&di=137989&ts=20031221025544" target="_blank" oncontextmenu="return false;" onmouseover="kwE(event,137989);" onmouseout="kwL(event);" onmousemove="kwM(137989);">application</nobr>; Windows cannot open it. What to do? My NEW computer reboots in the middle of clear blue sky, - and that happened minutes after Comcast setup my high-speed internet account.
