Hello friends,
I have the system with following configuration.
Make:custom built
RAM: 224MB (left)
HDD:80GB
OS currently installed: XP sp2Now, I want to install virtual PC with Vista. I tried downloading twice and went through settings for memory allocation and I get error 'not enough RAM' even I allocate 150MB.
Is this because I am trying to install Vista?
At last, I tried 111MB allocation and it didnt gave me any error. But this time it went to DOS and then asked me to put in disc for boot process. I inserted floppy but still keeps on asking me for 'Insert System Disc'
Now I dont know what I should do to get this working? Can someone help me with this installation?
Need your help..!!

Also... is the version of Virtual PC compliant/OK for an installation of Vista?
Do you actually know how much RAM it will require to run with Vista within V-PC? Each OS requires a different amount of RAM to run within V-PC; and the more recent the M$ OS the more RAM required...
Incidentally is a Celeron capable of running Vista in any style of installation?

I am trying to download V-PC from MS site and it gave me options of which V-PC you want to install?
XP and Vista were options among them..

You're welcome. BTW the 512MB RAM for Vista Enterprise is a joke. The optimal RAM is at least 2GB.
