Virtual PC
Create virtual machine, virtual hard(s) and put DOS there. OK.
BUT how to carry, transform data from this virtual world in "real virtual world" :)?
The whole things created on home PC without any network card.
Tried with stick. Create a second virtual hard disk which is *linked* to the (real) physical hdd (stick) and yes its work BUT when created, linked VPC make virtual image from stick. If some
things, programs, datas changed... what to do? Where to put them? How? Because the whole things are virtual.VM Ware has great thing - mapping drives. So you can map this hard, after all and approach to it
from XP makes copies etc. Great stuff. But VMW in DOS does not know extremly *elementary*
thing like what blinking (flashing) is. Cursor is deadly still on screen. If you try with some
software to make blinking any other character, same thing. Eventually it will be displayed in inverse mode. Horrible gaf :).Thanks.

OK!
Find!
Catch is then Virtual PC 2004 must use (not 2007) and Virtual Machine Addition and program Fshare.exe (folder share).MS help and support are... hey, anyone saw the movie "Idiocracy"?

In Virtual PC you can install Virtual Machine Addition (VMA) to map folders on the real hard drive and make them available to the guest OS. There are VMA packages for DOS and Windows guests, I installed the DOS VMA under FreeDOS (!) and mapping the root of real HD as Z: got access to the whole drive.
See in the help the VMA instructions to know how to implement that facility.
