Virtual memory is an area of the hard drive that the pc uses as memory also called page file. to change it
1.go to control panel click on system.
2.system properties box will appear click on the tab at the top called advanced.
3.at the top you will see a box called performance click on settings.
4.then at the top of the box is a tab called advanced(next to visual effects)
5.then look at the bottom of the window for a box called virtual memory, click on change
6.tick the box that says custom and make the min size 192 and the max size 1500mb , apply then ok then restart pc .
try that . if ya hard drive is nearly full up you may have to delete some stuff( then ya may not need to change the page file ) hope this helps. :)

actually I think a good rule of thumb is to have your virtual memory set at custom with first your ram size and then triple that for the maximum size.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

I don't believe in setting a maximum size. Windows will only use as much as it needs. If it gets to the maximum, you will probably encounter some problems.
