Hello. Does anyone know if there is such thing as a virtual DVD-R/RW drive? I know that there are lots of virtual DVD-ROM drives but thats not what I'm looking for. I need a virtual dvd r drive that can be accessed with other programs such as Nero, that creates ISO's or other images files, and is not only accessable within the software in which it was packaged. Any ideas? Thanks

Alcohol 120% will create as many virtual DVD-RW drives as you need. Also creates and burns image files.
" and is not only accessable within the software in which it was packaged"
Not sure what this means, but alcohol uses the mds image format, but can also save as iso (standard), ccd (CloneCD format), and cue (Nero, et al).
Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

what i meant by that is that you could use it with any program. For example, if i was to use the Alcohol One, i could also use Nero or Roxio Easy CD to burn images with that Image drive. And finally, to clarify, are you sure that that is a DVD R/RW image drive because other ones such as the nero image drive and Daemon Tools can mount images, but they are only DVD ROM drives. Thanks A Lot..
