Hi everyone
I need to know if i can do this:
My computer is in my study and in my bedroom i have a screen. Is there a cable or wireless solution to connect the two screens to the same PC. all i want is to view the same desktop in my bedroom as the PC is the study. Is there something which could do this? is it easy?
Also i have a Laptop is there anyway i could view the same screen on that too?

Please please help thanks in advance!

The machine is called a PERSONAL COMPUTER and not a NETWORK APPLIANCE.

The basic function was and still is one user, one screen, one keyboard, one mouse!

Yes you can get some cards that allow a TV out, so as to get the display repeated on a TV.

With a Laptop it's easier as most are designed to allow a projector or CRT display to plug in and have the same output on both.

You cannot have a Laptop showing the 'display' from another desktop.

OK all that said, you could achieved a similar objective by running both via the internet and get MSN messenger working on both and establish a remote assistance session and then control one PC from the other. PC anywhere does the same.

You say you have a screen in your bedroom, is that another monitor, a tv, or another PC? Unless it's another PC, wireless is out of the question, you will need a cable to connect to your PC in the study. If it is another PC, you could use Remote Desktop, Exceed, or many other programs to export your display to another machine. Post a little more information on what your setup is, and we will be able to help you out a little more.
