Reply: (edit)Make sure that you have the right Region DVD, e.g. Region 4 DVD will only play on Region 4 DVD drives and players. Do you have a software or hardware DVD decoder? DVD's cannot be played without one. Try using 3rd Party software like WinDVD Platinum, which contains it's own DVD decoder. Is the DVD a pirate? When DVD movies are made they contain a 'decryption key' hidden in the DVD. When the DVD is copied or pirated, the key is not copied over, thus preventing play.
