Comment:

I have recently encountered problems with ATI TV program freezing up. Audio continues fine but the video freezes after 20 secs. I have searched and it seems that DMA may be the culprit. I have a maxtor SATA HD (6Y120MO) that I have set to DMA when available but always lists it as PIO as current transfer mode. Any suggestions? Thanks,
Dom

Go over the messages in the URL below, one of them should fix it for you. BTW go to your motherboard chipset manufacturer's webpage and install the latest chipset drivers and see if that helps before that URL.
