I have a movie file which has the extension .mp4, so I think it is a MPEG4 video format. Please help me - how could I play this video file in Windows Media Player 10, or BSPlayer??? Now I have only sound, no video signal... I've tried downloading from Microsoft site the last codecs for W.M.Player, but it won't work! Maybe, it is a specific pack of codecs which I do not know yet....
Thank you for the help...

I must specify that I have ACE Mega Codec Pack installed, with settings on "Just Play". Eventually, if nothing else solves the problem, please recomend me a good converter software from .mp4 format to .avi...

Go here and get Quicktime Alternative, in the option box / Player / Formats stick a tick next to MPEG4 file.

This is also the native digital format for Nero also, qhich iss the default setting in their media player...

Uninstall ace and any other codec packs.
Now install ffdshow.

Solved this problem with VLC Player v. 0.8.2 and without uninstalling any codec pack from my computer.... The movie is indeed of a very good quality!
