lately I have a problem with my video display. The monitor goes black ,for a second , and then goes back to normal. It's been doing this ever since I updated my Nvidia G4 Mx440 driver. I updated my driver because I had problems playing warcraft 3 after I installed it. I have since un-installed warcraft 3 , until I can get this problem fixed first . Anybody had similar problems ?

I have an ATI card and yes I have had my share of video problems. The thing is that just because you update the drivers to the latest version it doesn't mean that they will fix everything. And sometimes the update can provide negative effects. It doesn't happen often, but when it does I simply roll back to a previous driver that I know works.... at least better than the new one. =) I would consider rolling back the driver. Or, if you are ambitious you might try and see if there is a video driver, AGP/PCI, update for your bios. hope this helps `Marc

I did a system restore , and dated back to the time I had installed warcraft 3. So far so good, my video display does not have that problem anymore. I still want to install warcraft3 . Should I now try to update my driver before i install this game?
