Comment: Hi everyone. I installed a demo game in my computer. It's "TopSpin", a tennis game from ATARI. When I tried to play it, it says : "The video card doesn't support a required feature for TopSpin. You should update the driver of this video card.(doesn't support vertex or/and pixel shaders version 1.1)" What is vertex or pixel shaders? I tried to update my driver and I couldn't. I'm not sure how to do it. I have Windows XP service pack 2 if that can help on analyzing the situation! Could someone find the answer to that problem please.

Reply: (edit)Hi, sounds like your gfx card doesnt have a pixel shader engine 1+ Vertex and pixel (or fragment) shaders are computer programs that run on a graphics card, executed once for every vertex or pixel in a specified 3D mesh. They operate in the context of interactively rendering a 3D scene, usually using either the Direct3D or OpenGL API. Ill go my own way... www.freewebs.com/evilmaiden defcon2600@gmail.com
